1922, this was
Hollywood's first movie palace. Originally
planned with a
Spanish motif, the Egyptian was redesigned
with an Egyptian

It is now the
headquarters of American Cinematique, a
nonprofit cultural
group dedicated to filmmaking heritage and
preservation.

- Hollywood Entertainment Museum: This is the
newest
of the Hollywood museums built to preserve and
celebrate
the entertainment industry. Some interesting
attractions
include a detailed miniature replica of
Hollywood during its
golden era, historical filmmaking equipment, a
Max Factor
fashion and make-up exhibit where visitors can
be made over
like stars and comprehensive electronic
library that offers
information on industry job opportunities. For
television fans,
the museum also offers the bridge of the
U.S.S. Enterprise
